Above the Town is a contemporary bluegrass ensemble, blending a mixture of traditional bluegrass sounds with Celtic influences, jazz, and swing.

Above the Town provides a mix of the old with the new, performing music by the masters of bluegrass as well as original material. In 2006, Above the Town was privileged to be one of thirteen bands selected to showcase at the International Bluegrass Music Association Trade Show in Nashville,Tennessee.

The Brewhaus Polka Kings

Come and listen to one of Milwaukee's best polka bands! The Brewhaus Polka Kings have a unique repertoire that includes German, Slovenian and other "standard" folk songs as well as old dance band and novelty songs. Their "crossover" sound is sure to please the ears of many audiences, even those who normally wouldn't consider listening to polka. The band achieves a fullness of sound by complimenting the accordion with the drum and string and other instruments. They have patterned their sound in the tradition of the style of "America's Polka King", Frank Yankovic.
